[edit] Information
King of Cocaland: UN Losing War on Drugs Despite the UN's seeming attempts at hindering cocaine production by subsidizing farmers of cocoa, coffee or palm oil, the cocaine plantations in Peru have still managed to become one of the world's largest sources of production. Jochen Wiese has been for 30 years representative of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in Peru. Next to Columbia, Peru is one the largest sources of cocaine.
